• Abbey Casey

Currently sleep deprived at the demands of year 12, sanity is no longer a concept that exists. Culture, documentaries and travelling adventures fascinate me. I love nothing else more than random surges of inspiration to write something creative. The future excites me.

  • Alex Gleeson

Alex Gleeson- The man, the myth, the legend. Some say he was raised by wolves, others say he raises wolves. All of this, is completely untrue. Hailing from St Kevin's College Toorak, Alex, or Gypsy, as he is known as by close mates, enjoys music (that isn't played on commercial radio), Collingwood Football Club, Liverpool Football Club, and painting with close friend Anthony Bortoli.

  • Alex Tran

Alex has always been told to participate more often in class discussions but still prefers to write what he thinks instead. He thinks this may be so because he's frankly a shy young man.

  • Ben Cardwell

There’s not much I can’t find some sort of interest in. Coming from Geelong, I write, play basketball and watch television, filling in the space with something resembling a high school education. I’m a massive Essendon fan and I have a young Border Collie who really likes to latch himself on to your clothes. If I could, I would live on ice tea and salt and vinegar chips, writing about sport and science fiction. Odd combination you say? Yeah, I get that a lot.

  • Billie Tumarkin

Currently occupied by convincing teachers why I shouldn't do their work, I am an 16 year old girl who might just be a figment of your imagination. Hobbies include - writing (really, never would have guessed that one), sarcasm, singing, acting, drawing, talking, debating, learning long words and failing to spell them. And as such, I shall bid thee farewell by correcting your Shakespeare quote (wherefore art thou doesn't mean where are you, it means why are you!) and informing you that your argument is invalid. Bye bye.

  • Damon Cai

I'm 15 years old, in Year 10 and already beginning to panic over the VCE English exam, like any good Asian should. I spend far too much time browsing Reddit, reading tech news and looking up obscure pieces of information like the phonology of the Icelandic language. When life gets boring (and it often does) I'll turn to anything that provides some sort of escape: music, video games, reading and movies. (I might also visit Reddit and seethe ineffectually at the latest injustices perpetuated by the Republican Party in the US, which is quite entertaining as well.) My foremost loves in the field of escapism are Dragon Age: Origins, the Mass Effect series and Bastion; A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones, His Dark Materials and Stardust; Of Monsters and Men, Sigur Rós, Florence + the Machine, Radiohead, Regina Spektor and U2; and Princess Mononoke and (500) Days of Summer. (And my backlog of video games on Steam, which never fails to evoke in me a strange mixture of terror and ecstasy.)

  • Elinor Mills

The one! The only! Elinor Mills, awkward teen heartthrob on the adventure of a lifetime! Likes include intersectional feminism, Regina Spektor, and you. Dislikes include 'grammar nazis', overpriced books, and small children with high-pitched voices. Will argue with you about the gender binary, the value of cheesy pop music, and maths. Recent evidence disputes the hypothesis that I am an all-powerful being capable of destroying worlds, but maybe human's not such a bad thing to be.

  • Emily Wang

Emily is a very quiet seventeen year old who spends her time reading, taking photographs and dancing ridiculously to music. She cannot wait to wander through the beautiful cobbled streets of Paris whilst nibbling on a pain du chocolat, buy a bunch of flowers at the Portobello Markets in London and (attempt) to sing 'Empire State of Mind' under the glimmering lights of Times Square.

  • Eric Xie

Eric is a genetically created superhuman whose only superpower is being able to talk in the third person. Sometimes this creates problems for Eric as others have no idea what he's going on about. Eric accepts this as a part of life, and hopes that one day he will be able to put his power to good use, although he does not know how this will ever happen. Eric wishes to be be honest however, so Eric has decided to inform those who may decide to read this that he enjoys writing. Occasionally, during a sentence, Eric forgets what

  • Fae OToole

Oh hi, let me take your hat. My name is Fae O'Toole because my parents were apparently trying really really hard to win the "Child With The Most Irish Name Ever," award when they gave me this title. I like cellos, thunderstorms, burgers, outerspace and writing essays. I walk a fine line between professionalism and being two years old.

  • Jess Naylor

Jess Naylor is 16 and attends school in the city centre of Melbourne. Besides being obsessed with eating her away around the best restaurants of the city, she spends most of her time reading, watching movies, listening to weird music, stalking celebrities on IMDB and perfecting the ultimate chocolate brownie.

  • Oscar Luca

Hey there. Names Oscar. Friends call me Ocky. I'm a 16 year old aspiring writer from the good ol' suburb of Northcote. I have a passion for all things music, film, street art, video games and comic books. Well, maybe not ALL things. Some things. Ok. Barely any things. But before I get off on a tangent about the mainstream, a topic that I can rant about for years (for either side, mind you), my hobbies include playing video games, watching television (I have an eternal love for Firefly, Futurama, Project Runway, Archer, Metalocalypse, ATHF, Family Guy, Buffy, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Skins, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Pokemon, Freaks and Geeks and a whole lot more), arguing to death things I either care little about or am utterly passionate about, buying clothes, drinking coffee, reading magazines/comics (the last two probably simultaneously) and wasting my youth attached to the black hole known as the Internet.

  • Ruby Smith

I could tell you ... I was born in the year 1746. I guess that makes me... 266, although I still look exactly 13 and for some reason don't get tooth decay. I lived in Paris during the French Revolution and was nearly killed in the storming of the Bastille. I escaped France and moved to London, my home city. There I managed to evade police capture for long enough to join Fagin's gang and teach the Artful Dodger everything he knows. Soon thereafter I was transported to Australia. After a gap of about 200 years, where nothing of note happened excepting the world wars, my new interests are Tim Burton movies and classic literature. And opera. And drawing. And singing. Our school production of Cats. Not getting Facebook. Reading as many good books as humanly possible. I could tell you all this... but I'm not going to.

  • Saskia Davey

Newly turned vegan and vegetarian of ten years, my untamable red mane pretty much depicts my personality perfectly- crazy, wild, creative and cheerful. While people who know me well say I laugh too much, I blame it on my slightly unruly imagination, which sparks up often at times of great need- particularly when writing an abundance of creative stories. I have a passion for fashion and like to consider myself fashion forward, deviating from mainstream trends. J’adore le français, je l’etudie à l’école. The dead language, also known as Latin, intrigues me greatly. I am fortunate enough to unearth many of its perplexing grammatical structures at school nearly every day! It goes without saying that all cultural things spark my enthusiasm- particularly art, film and travel!

  • Tegan Evans

So this one time I choked on some Sprite and tripped over Thom Yorke. True story.
